Two Diasporas.
One Commitment to Peace.

Doctors know the human cost of conflict. Together, we can help create spaces for listening, dignity, healing and reconciliation in Kashmir.

Campaign launch planned for November 14, 2026

Why Docs4Peace

Healing extends beyond medicine.

Docs4Peace invites doctors of Indian and Pakistani heritage—and allies who share their commitment to human wellbeing—to support a people-centered peacebuilding effort in Kashmir.

We believe medical professionals can help build bridges across borders and communities through their shared dedication to reducing suffering and protecting human dignity. This initiative is nonpartisan and welcomes diverse experiences and perspectives.

We do not need to agree on every history or political question to affirm that every person deserves to be heard with dignity.

Our first campaign

Help begin a year of listening.

Docs4Peace is preparing a $108,000 first campaign for a proposed 12-month phase of the Kashmir Initiative. This phase will support local planning, facilitator preparation, supervised listening circles, safeguarding, and accountable coordination. The work builds on established Global Social Witnessing practice, with local implementation shaped by community guidance and agreed safeguards.

$1 millionOverall 18-month fundraising plan

The first campaign is part of the overall $1 million plan. Further campaigns will seek the remaining $892,000; funds raised above the first goal reduce that remaining amount. The longer-term objective of training 108 facilitators depends on further funding, agreed training, and local capacity. The first-phase delivery period begins once funds, local arrangements, and safeguards are ready.

These are campaign targets, not funds already raised or participants already trained.
